RECIPE FOR BLESSINGS

"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up"
(Galatians 6:9, NLT)

There was a story back in the 1800s about a group of explorers who got lost in the middle of a desert.

After using up their water supply, then began to dig under the sand in hopes of finding water.

But unfortunately none of them were able to find any, and none survived the ordeal.

Several years later, it was found out that there was indeed water just a few feet below the spot where they were digging. If they hadn't given up, they would've been able to drink fresh water to their heart's content.

The same can be said about doing good, particularly in relation to today's Scripture.

Whenever you are struggling with life, or having a bad break at your career, or having a difficult time with a relationship, you are simply experiencing a dry spell.

Don't quit. Dig. Rake in the soil and dig like there's no tomorrow because you never know when the Lord shall shower you with His favor and blessings, whose arrival into your life is only a matter of time.

Keep digging until you tap in to the well of the Lord's goodness!

Here's the season for good doing; maximize the moment!

DECISION TO DELEGATE

"For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you."  (Titus 1:5)

One of the most common mistakes a coach can make is to misjudge the level of a player. If the leader doesn't work with each player according to where he is in his development, the player won't produce, succeed, and develop. According to management consultant Ken Blanchard, all team members fit into one of four categories with regard to the type of leadership they need:

• Players who need direction. These players don't really know what to do or how to do it. You need to instruct them every step of the way.
• Players who need coaching. Players who are able to do more of the job on their own will become more independent, but they still rely on you for direction and feedback.
• Players who need support. Players able to work without your direction still may require resources and encouragement.
• Players to whom you delegate. At this stage, players can be given a task, and you can be confident that it will be done. They only need you to lead. Provide them with vision on the front end and accountability on the back end, and they will multiply your efforts toward success.

ONE DAY AT A TIME

“If you live just for today, to make today the most successful, happy day of your life, I am sure that you will have an extraordinary life. A successful life is nothing more than a series of successful days.” - Thomas D. Willhite

Just for today, take one step to making your dreams a reality.
Just for today, be grateful for all your blessings.
Just for today, choose to be happy.
Then you will truly have your daily formula for a lifetime of success.
In Health,
Dr. Bryan Schuetz

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24)
