10 RULES TO BE NICE

Meaningful Living TODAY

10 RULES TO BE NICE

These are simple rules; but simplicity contains great power and beauty
Rule #1: Think about others before you think about yourself.
Rule #2: Say “please”.
Rule #3: Say “thank you”.
Rule #4: Smile.
Rule #5: Say “sorry” when you need to say “sorry”.
Rule #6: Turn off your phone when you eat with your family.
Rule #7: Be on time. No, be early.
Rule #8: Radiate optimism and make people feel good.
Rule #9: Keep your promises.
Rule #10: Be humble

Please practice these rules (I will too), discuss them with your team and share them with your family. Our world will definitely be more meaningful, as we do.

More TIPS on BEING YOU

Meaningful Living TODAY

“…your deepest beliefs drive your daily behavior” –Robin Sharma

TIP 1: NO IDEA WORKS UNLESS YOU DO THE WORK.
A lot of winning starts with beginning.

TIP 2: ALL CHANGE IS HARD AT FIRST, MESSY IN THE MIDDLE AND GORGEOUS AT THE END.
Often, we start to install a new habit and then quickly retreat on the first sign of discomfort. But please remember that our growth--and mastery--is built around our discomfort, not our ease.

TIP 3: THE FINEST WAY TO GET RESPECT IS TO GIVE RESPECT.
It also speaks to a beautiful truth: treat people incredibly well and you'll give them a reason to treat you incredibly well.

TIP 4: TO HAVE WHAT FEW HAVE, DO WHAT FEW DO.
We need to aim for iconic in our fields, sweat the details, pursue a singular vision, be filled with optimism, passion and integrity. And be utterly devoted to our personal development and professional education.

and lastly, but never the least...

TIP 5: NEVER WALK ALONE
You need not just the company of vision-aiders; you need the company of the Giver of visions. Never attempt going without God.

“…With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26)

Go for it; achieve your meaningful mission

BE YOU ANYWAY

Meaningful Living TODAY

BE YOU ANYWAY

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
~ Mother Teresa

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10)

Maximise the MOMENT

Meaningful Living TODAY

"View your life with kindsight.
There is only very little done about the past;
"...this one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind..."

Stop beating yourself up about things from your past.
Instead of slapping your forehead and asking,
'What was I thinking,' breathe and ask yourself the kinder question,
'What was I learning?'"
 - Karen Salmansohn

That's why it's called PAST.
And equally so little can be done about tomorrow;
You can bring 6pm tomorrow to NOW.
The only gift that you have and can do so much about is today;
That's why it's  called PRESENT.
Dear Meaningful Friend, I enjoin you:
learn the lessons from the PAST,
Focus on TODAY,
And tomorrow will be best.

"...this one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind..."
(Philippians 3:13)

Meaningful TIPS

CLARITY: Productivity Tip for the Week

If you want to double your productivity, take 5 minutes to
write a daily plan every morning. Be specific and precise,
including the exact time you will work on each item.

Here's how you do it. Spend 4 minutes asking yourself these
three questions:

1. Who am I and what's most important to me? Don't make
this difficult, just ponder your top values and priorities
for one minute.

2. What are the most important things I want to get done
in the next few days? What specific projects, tasks, or
results do I want to accomplish this week?

3. In light of the first two questions, what will I do
today to move me forward? What couple of things--tasks,
phone calls, decisions--will I do today to move
incrementally closer to my goals?

These three questions will take about four minutes. Then
spend the last minute jotting down your answers to this
question: "What will I do today and when will I do it?"

That's it. Clarity is power, and a precise written list of
things you will do today makes all the difference. If you
want to double your productivity and achieve more this year
than you ever thought possible, try this simple technique
for the next 90 days, including weekends! If you do this
for 90 days, I promise you will do it for the rest of your
life. And, we'll celebrate with you. . .at the top!

Do have a meaningful day/ week/ month.
